In Kamloops we headed down to the Riverside park to beat the heat. Although Kamloops is not blessed like Kelowna, Vernon or Penticton by being on the shores of a lake it does border the Thompson river. The Riverside park is a great little place with a small beach, waterpark and tons of grassy area for the kids to run until they drop.
